Responsibilities

• Solid grasp of Math and Statistics.
• BS in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or other data-related field coupled with 2+ years industry experience in machine learning and statistical modelling
• Master’s Degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or other data-related field coupled with 1+ years industry experience in machine learning and statistical modelling
• Hands-on experience in using ML and DL algorithms such as GLM, NB, SVM, LDA, Kmeans
• Hands-on experience in using NLP techniques such as embedding(eg word2vec) and models /frameworks such as LSTM, BERT, CDQA
• Strong hands-on Experience with NLP – developing models/algorithms and improving its results for extracting intents, entities, topic modelling, user-defined entities, multi-languages, sentiment analysis, emotion analysis, spell correction etc.
• Strong experience in pre-processing & post-processing: Regex, Rules, Parsing etc
• Strong coding skills in python with expertise in data wrangling (both structured & text) – cleaning, junk removal (eg html patterns), formatting, imputation
• Good hands-on working knowledge of at least one of the Deep Learning frameworks such as Tensor flow, Keras, Pytorch etc
• Hands-on experiencing in code repo management using Github/lab – manage a repo at a Module/Project level through its cycle of check out/in/pull/branch/merge etc
• Strong hands-on knowledge of using Cloud infra for ML (preferable AWS)
• Proven track record of completing at least 2 full life cycle (including post production maintenance & monitoring) ML (NLP) projects
• Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency’ in order to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent attitude for collaboration
• Bonus – Contributions to research communities/efforts, including publishing papers in machine learning (JMLR, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR).
