Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of diverse, talented, and creative leaders who consistently deliver high-impact work across products and features.
- Responsible for helping different teams achieve business objectives.
- Responsible for high-quality well crafted user experience, team bandwidth allocation, and prioritization of work across products.
- Lead end-to-end product cycle in partnership with lead designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders right from conceptualization to launch.
- Responsible for the overall strategy and the health of the current and future products of Scaler.
- Help build data-informed (Qualitative + quantitative) design decision practices which lead to safer bets and high-outcome problem-solving.
- Define and craft the Scaler design system to build a holistic Scaler product identity.
- Mentor Senior designers, provide timely feedback and help set periodic goals in order to continuously raise Scaler design standards.
- Responsible for clear communication of goals and strategy for different products within and outside the design team.
- Ensure high efficiency and better use of effort when building similar features across different Scaler products.
- Create a motivating design culture that helps the scaler design team grow within as well outside Scaler as design leaders.
