Eligibility Criteria:
The educational qualification which candidates are required to have to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer in Haryana Power Utilities is given below.
Discipline Essential Qualification
Assistant Engineer (Civil) Bachelors degree in civil engineering with 60% marks (General), 55% (SC Category candidates having domicile of Haryana)
OR
Masters degree in civil engineering with 60% marks (General), 55% (SC Category candidates having domicile of Haryana)
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Bachelor of engineering degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 60% marks (General), 55% (SC Category candidates having domicile of Haryana)
OR
Masters Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 60% marks (General), 55% (SC Category candidates having domicile of Haryana)
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Bachelor or Masters degree in mechanical engineering with 60% marks (General), 55% (SC Category candidates having domicile of Haryana)
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates in each category would be done by the HPUs on the basis of result of GATE-2022, Socio Economic Criteria and Experience. The scheme of marks in respect of selection of Assistant Engineer shall comprise of 100 marks out of which the weightage of GATE exam 2022 will be of 80 marks and socio economic criteria and experience will be having the weightage of 20 marks.
